Transforming Workplace Wellness
Our Philosophy

Did you know that employee burnout is at an all-time high, with 66% of employees reporting that they are experiencing burnout? Burnout leads to decreased productivity, lower engagement, increased absenteeism, and higher turnover costs.

Burnout is not caused by a lack of resilience in individuals, but by a mismatch between workplace demands and human capacity. We believe that preventing burnout requires a proactive, systems-based approach rather than reactive solutions.

At Resilient Workplace Professionals, we believe in three key principles:

1. Prevention Over Recovery
Most organizations address burnout only after it impacts performance or retention. We focus on early intervention, equipping teams with tools and systems that prevent burnout before it starts.

2. Sustainable High Performance
High performance should not come at the expense of wellbeing. We help organizations create environments where employees can perform at a high level consistently—without chronic stress or exhaustion.

3. Organizational Responsibility
Burnout is not an individual failure—it is a workplace outcome. Sustainable change happens when companies align leadership, culture, and workload expectations with human performance and wellbeing.
Kristen Jarrell
Burnout Prevention Specialist

I have personal experience with the concept of employee burnout, and I have made it my mission to help others avoid workplace burnout. I attended the US Naval Academy and then served as a Naval Surface Warfare Officer for six years upon graduation. Although I enjoyed my time in the service, the constant demands and pressure of being a successful officer caught up to me, which resulted in a medical retirement from the Navy. Afterwards, I decided to follow one of my passions, yoga, and became a Certified Yoga Instructor (RYT 200). I taught yoga fulltime for six years, and I found great joy in helping others experience the benefits of a regular yoga practice. I re-entered the corporate world as a Project Manager for Schneider Electric for two years before I switched roles to a Business Analyst. I currently use burnout prevention techniques and mindfulness practices to keep myself healthy and productive in my current role. I can't wait to share these practices with your team to help improve workplace resilience.
